DIRECTIONS

Harborside Event Center is conveniently located along the banks of the Caloosahatchee River in historic Downtown, Fort Myers, Florida. Our street address is 1375 MONROE STREET.  We are accessible from I-75 and US-41, which are the main roadways running from as far East as Miami and North of Tampa.  Located just 20 minutes from Southwest Florida International Airport and the Sanibel/Captiva Islands, finding Harborside Event Center is simple, convenient and picturesque.

FROM THE NORTH

Take I-75 South to Exit 138, Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd (SR 82).  Exit and head West into Downtown Fort Myers (about 4 miles).  At Monroe Street, make a right and go four blocks to Bay Street.  Parking is located around the Event Center either at the City of Palms Garage, metered street parking or in the Harborside Parking Lot located on the East side of the building.

Take US-41 South into Downtown Fort Myers.  Once you cross over the Caloosahatchee River take the first off ramp into Downtown.  The ramp exits onto West First Street.  Go two blocks to Monroe Street and make a left. Parking is located around the Event Center either at the City of Palms Garage, metered street parking or in the Harborside Parking Lot located on the East side of the building.

FROM THE SOUTH

Take I-75 North to Exit 138, Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd (SR 82).  Exit and head West into Downtown Fort Myers (about 4 miles).  At Monroe Street, make a right and go four blocks to Bay Street.  Parking is located around the Event Center either at the City of Palms Garage, metered street parking or in the Harborside Parking Lot located on the East side of the building.

Take US-41 North into Downtown Fort Myers.  Just before you cross over the Caloosahatchee River take the last exit into Downtown (stay on your right).  The exit puts you on Main Street.  Go two blocks to Monroe Street and make a left. Parking is located around the Event Center either at the City of Palms Garage, metered street parking or in the Harborside Parking Lot located on the East side of the building.

FROM THE EAST

Take McGregor Boulevard North past the Edison Ford Estates towards Downtown. Just past the Estates, make a left onto West First Street.  Take West First Street about one mile into Downtown.  Just past Centennial Park at Monroe Street, make a left and go two blocks to Bay Street.  Parking is located around the Event Center either at the City of Palms Garage, metered street parking or in the Harborside Parking Lot located on the East side of the building.

FROM THE WEST

Take Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd (SR 82) into Downtown Fort Myers.  At Monroe Street, make a right and go four blocks to Bay Street.  Parking is located around the Event Center either at the City of Palms Garage, metered street parking or in the Harborside Parking Lot located on the East side of the building.

PARKING RATES

METERED PARKING

Harborside Event Center has about 300 metered parking spaces surrounding the Center. The rate is $.25 per hour with a maximum of ten (10) hours. There is no charge for metered parking on Saturday, Sunday, and after 5:00pm on weekdays. The meters only accept quarters, so please bring the appropriate change when parking in metered spaces.

PARKING GARAGES

City of Palms Parking Garage
The City of Palms Garage is located directly adjacent to Harborside Event Center on the corner of Monroe and Bay Street. It is open daily Monday through Friday 6:00am to 8:00pm. The garage is open late night hours and weekends during special events. See below for parking rates.

Main Street Parking Garage
The Main Street Garage is located within walking distance of Harborside Event Center on the corner of Main and Jackson Street. It is open daily Monday through Friday 6:00am to 8:00pm. The garage is open late night hours and weekends during special events. See below for parking rates.
